Falling Skies is the latest sci-fi television series from TNT or any network I'm aware of to make it's way onto the small screen since Stargate Universe. The show is set during the aftermath of an alien attack that took out (according to the show) all but 10% of the population six months after the initial invasion.

The new (or old) Conan the Barbarian isn't exactly a sci-fi movie but the newest iteration of the film stars Jason Mamoa from Stargate Atlantis fame. If you're a fan of his work then go check him out in the new Conan film and let us know what you think.

Get ready for another Final Destination! Actually, I enjoyed the first Final Destination movie but the subsequent additions to the series fail in the same way as Saw... it's the same old thing.
